A wide variety of research is carried out at the Center for Computational Heliophysics in Hawaii (C2H2), located at UH Manoa's Institute for Astronomy (pictured below). Modeling of various aspects of the Sun and simulations of specific events observed by satellites are carried out utilizing C2H2's 40 processor super computer (pictured at left) housed at IFA Maui (pictured below).
